I have been grated a COPR after approval of my EXPRESS entry application. Do I need to land at Province/City of Destination mentioned in the one time visa provided with COPR or I can visit any airport for PR interview. Thanks. Is there also a limitation on the city one plans to live in or I am free to stay in any city/province of choice. Thanks

You can land at whichever location happens to be your first POE into the country. If you chose to land in Quebec and have not applied specifically for that province you should be prepared to show you have onward travel arrangements. Same applies if you are a PNP applicant if the first POE is not your PNP province. Once you have completed your PR landing you are free to live and work in any province.

I got a Job in Quebec and I learnt that PR has mobility freedom. Still, can I not land on Montreal Airport and give my PR interview or it is best to land in another province. I have not specified Quebec in my application. Thank you.

Others can comment as well but not advisable to land at Montreal as an initial/final destination given immigration may refuse to complete your PR landing.

Quebec has a very specific immigration program unique to Quebec (CSQ) and they are very protective of it if someone has not followed the process. Once someone has landed as a PR anywhere else they can live and work anywhere but not complete an initial landing in Quebec without onward travel.

Maybe fly to Toronto , complete PR landing there, then catch a connecting domestic flight to Montreal. Of course someone may suggest having a Montreal - Toronto ticket and be a no show for the Toronto leg but that’s up to you as long as immigration remain convinced.

Thank you so much. Can someone else throw some light on the same. @Bs65 Is living in Montreal fine or that too can be problematic with Express Entry PR. Thanks. I greatly appreciate your response.
