Sorry, I'm still confused how this process works. So you apply EOI online, then they will do draws and send you an Invitation correct?

After that, who decides the stream you go to? Will they mention it on the invitation?

Hey, I am confused, because some checklists do not have a slot for education transcript in the CEC PR application, however some applications specifically mention - "Education Transcript (required)" as attached screenshot below. How's that decided. Some people even after getting 30 points for Canadian Education don't require to submit education transcript. Pls Help!! Thanks

Yesterday, February 28, 2025, "Cooks" was added to the Trades OCupations . I recently left my job as a cook, but I have one year of experience in this role. Am I still eligible to apply for the program, or will my work experience no longer be considered?

This is the only information that I found on Canada.ca

Hi, I have submitted my application recently through Express entry, however I did not disclosed that i was working part time during my study permit duration. I thought i only have to mention my study during that period but now i am assuming i also should have mentioned the part time jobs i did during the same period. May i please know if this will affect my application or there is any way to fix this like by submitting a web form?? please advise. Thank you in advance.

Hi everyone, under educational qualification, if someone has completed two certificate programs in Canada (each 8-months long), and Bachelor’s degree from home country - the correct option to choose in the profile is “Two or more certificates…” right? Just wanted to confirm please. Thanks!

I have 3 questions.

1. I have submitted an EOI. My current position LMIA exempt due to intra company transfer. When I do the CRS assessment on the IRCC website, I get 625 points however in my submission, I am only getting 478. Does the fact that I am an intra company transfer negatively impact my score? In the assessment I have 625 but in the application I only have 478 with the CRS Job offer only being 50 instead of 200.

2. In addition, I have been told that my work permit maxes out at 5 years. I came to Canada in May 15 2021 and during that period I was out of the country for approximately 2 months. I have been given until March 14 2026 on my current work permit. What are my options?

3. Can I submit an application for PR to multiple provinces?

1. This has nothing to do with the fact you are on an ICT. 200 points are only awarded for specific NOCs for top level leaders, such as CEOs and CFOs. Roles such as senior manager are only given 50 points.

2. Hopefully get PR before then. Otherwise look for a different employer in Canada who is willing to hire you and get an approved LMIA.

3. This doesn't make sense if you are already working in Canada. You have to prove intent to reside. So it really only makes sense to apply through the province where you have been living and working the last several years.

My brother originally submitted AAIP via EOI. If he decides to apply Express Entry instead, does he need to withdraw or delete his AAIP application?

I created my express entry profile yesterday, I did my masters in Canada add added it to the profile. But I haven’t got any points for my CRS - Canadian Education it’s mentioned as 0 points (Do I need to wait for the score to be updated??)

You most likely answered a question wrong. Usually it is the question about whether you completed the program in French or English, or online.
