Hello everyone,

I had created an express entry profile in October. I was eligible for FSW and even got invited to apply for OINP which i did in December.

I got an email yesterday about the new funds requirement. I went in to my submitted applications under my CIC login, and could not find the funds section, under personal history, and just submitted the profile.

Now whenever i try to modify my profile, under the status, there comes a lock ( Transmitted) and view forms option, and no modify profile options.

Any help would be appreciated. I am currently in Canada, and was anticipating OINP AOR soon, but due to this mishap, oinp will decline my application, and it'll be a lot of hassle's for me.

What do i do? If i create a new profile, OINP will reject my application as my this current profile is showing as ineligible and i cant even modify it, as the status shows as transmitted. Please advice, what can i do.

Would appreciate it a lot.

Don't fret...I understand it's a precarious situation. What you may need to do is create a new profile and inform MCIIT about the issue and your new EE profile No.(including the new Job Bank code) via. an LoE (Yes, i agree it's a tiring process, but you have no other choice i guess), they will consider your new profile for future nomination.

What i guess the issue (bug is a better word) is as follows:

Since IRCC has changed the LICO any profile that is logged into and goes into edit mode and gets logged out without modifying the LICO gets locked this way and there is no way the applicant is able to unlock/re-edit it thereafter. (This is what happened to you because as you said you tried looking for the LICO update button under personal history section but could not locate it and then submitted as it is and logged out of your profile)

So it locked you out permanently (with a vengeance :-\). My guess is had you successfully changed the LICO this wouldn't have happened.

Note: All profiles in the pool are normally fine and in a happy eligible state even though LICO has been updated by IRCC sometime back, until the moment you login to edit the profile is when it expects that you update LICO appropriately, else it gets locked.

The above are my assumptions and may be a figment of my imagination, but the reality is that in so many cases applicants have been locked out for good and as usual IRCC IT team is of no help to anyone here.

Hi CanadaWeCome,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I really appreciate it a lot.

I will create a new EE profile, job bank, etc. Do you know how can i let MCIIT know, as in where to send them an LOE?

I am currently in Canada, working on a full time temporary job. I have a 3 years open work permit since i studied my masters here.

I will complete my 1 year full time work, in NOC A in May.

Do let me know, how to get in touch with MCIIT.

Thank you
