Hi Raj, I am not a regular reader of the forums, and I got my PPR on last Friday. Based on your experience and journey on this forum, can you advice how long does it take to get the PR after submitting your PPR docs? Thanks in advance

Can you please share your timeline?

It has been 178 days for me (Nov 13 - FSW-O). I'm certain that I will be one of the unlucky few to have the processing of my application take longer than the normal 6 months. I am just waiting patiently to reach the 180 days and then get in touch with them, even though I am pretty sure it will be fruitless.

Are there many other miserable ones like myself on this thread?

hey man. My AOR is Oct 30 and my security checks have been in progress since November 2016. 192 days and going. I'm lebanese and seeing that you're an iraqi, I would expect that your security checks cross the 6-month processing time also.

Hey Tony. I feel for you brother. I agree with you about our applications taking a long time, let's just hope not *too* long. I see people who have been waiting for over a year, and I wonder if mine will be like that too. It's not a good feeling to be honest, but I guess it is what it is.

Good luck to you and please keep us posted.

I'm in the same camp as you. I received my GCMS notes a couple of weeks ago and exactly like you, my security and eligibility have not even started!

It really is frustrating and depressing, and to make matters worse, it is completely out of our control. There is nothing we can do to expedite the process. All we can do is wait and see.

Since only a few of us (from November) are in this situation, it is imperative to keep each other posted by regularly updating each other on this thread, if for nothing else but moral boost. So please stay in touch.

I do believe the problem is not canada. To me, 80% chance the delays are caused by the lebanese general security that are known for their bureaucracy.

Any PNP Inlands got PPR yesterday? May 9th was widely publicized as the day :(
It's past now. The people who got 9th May as reply should try to call again and ask. But I don't know who got this date?

All PNP - Inland applicants. lets tweet our problem to immigration minister. Please reply to this post if you are agree. we need at least 30 tweets in order to take attention of immigration minister.

Hi Members,

Visa Officer asked me to submit IM008 for the newborn child. I have OINP nomination and applied under FSW category.

Now under this form what should I chose for 'Category under which you are applying' - 'Skilled Worker' or 'Provincial Nominee'.

Please suggest.

Thanks!
Sunny

No fixed time. Its different in different locations. I got my PP back in 5 days post submission in India. Generally, might take a week or two depending on your location.
