I got an email with request to pay the Right of Permanent Resident Landing Fees on Feb 2nd which I paid promptly. I still need to submit RCMP PCC and hopefully I'm all set after that.

Hello All the members,

My case is always unique and only. My ON file need the support from MPP office and now ...... My PR file was updated as medical passed at January 28. Yesterday, I got a nice and sweet rejection letter (Canceled as incomplete). The reason is as bellow;

- Police Certificate:
o The Police certificate from SOUTH KOREA that you provided with your application is not acceptable. Please note that the police certificate must indicate that all records have been searched, including any lapsed records. You should specifically request a search on your entire record, including Criminal Records (including lapsed criminal sentences), and investigation records. Please verify our website in order to determine the required document.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/korea-south.asp
Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete.

My Korean PCC was taken from the embassy and today I went there about the clarification. They said to me, they said to CIC about their type of PCC. But some time it still happens. So, now I have to collect the PCC like CIC want from Korea!!! I left that country more than 4 years ago. Now, they notarized a power of attorney which gives a chance to collect the PCC from Korea by a friend (they think it will work, but not granted :().

That CIC officer simply ask me to provide a new one. I am in a danger line, Work Permit is going to expire next month. But a good news is, I got a new job (which is LMIA-exempt). By the way ON already transfer my nomination to my new profile and if everything goes well try to apply by the end of next week (if I get that special PCC). Pray for me and for my family. Good Luck to ALL.

I am terribly sorry to hear that :( . This is a hiccup but don't worry, you'll get your PR visa in no time when you submit your next application. I sincerely hope that you and your family get to become Permanent Residents at the earliest.

All the very best! We're here if you need any help with queries or if you need a shoulder :) .

Hi guys, I think I also received the golden email today. Here's what it says:

The processing of your application for permanent residence in Canada is almost complete. You must complete the following steps within 30 days in order for our office to issue your Confirmation of Permanent Residence and, if applicable, permanent residence visa. If for any reason you are not able to meet this deadline, please inform us immediately by email to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca with details concerning your situation.

Congratulations to everybody else who got one. For those who are still waiting, i'm sure it will come. The trend this week looks promising.

I'm so sorry to hear your rejection Surbhigurpreet. I read one situation, he got rejected but when he applied again, his application was approved. It took time but he said it was worth the wait.

Can somebody please teach me how to put signature below? Thank you.

Hello Everyone;

I got an email yesterday regarding passport request. I am an inland CEC candidate but right now I am in India with my wife for next 4 weeks. Can anyone help me how do I explain my situation to change the visa consulate from Ottawa to Delhi so that we can have our passport stamped here during our stay in India as the 30 days time would be over by the time we reach back to Canada.
