Got some really good news today; update on MyCIC and letter requesting our Passports!!

FSW-Outland - Visa Office - Pretoria, South Africa

My Timeline
ITA - Dec 28th
eAOR - Dec 30th
Medicals - Passed - Jan 13th
BG Check - In progress - Feb 20th
PPR Request - 22 Feb

Will be hand delivering our Passports on Friday!

Not sure if Anyone is interested tracking post PPR; we submitted our Passports this morning to the Pretoria VAC - 24 Feb. Will keep posting updates until we have Passports with the Immigration VISA.

Next time you go there... try to ask them if they have many files to work on...? and how is the progress...

They didnt look very busy! I got there ar 7am expecting a 2mile long queue... when they opened at 8am I was in front, needless to say, but there was onle 1 couple behind me LOL!!!!!!!!!! Thats what this tiresome EE process will do to you. Its been a painful 12 months.

Well, nothing to worry about, actually congrats for the BOWP.

however yes, you are right usually R10 is done when BG goes back to NN.
But of course with CIC everything and anything is possible. Some got PPR with only one BG change i.e. NN--IP.

UNDER CEC
CEC applicant aor on DEC1ST already ppr,
so I am assuming, I will ppr soon anytime?
what time the golden email will drop roughly? am? pm?

Has anyone had to make changes on their submitted application? How do we do it?

My wife filed to have her last name changed a few weeks ago and we just got the documentation approving her name change (applying from U.S.). I looked at the original notice of transmitting my application (December 2nd, 2016) and it says to "notify us" of any changes to the application -- but it doesn't provide a way of doing so.

Does anyone know how we're supposed to make/notify CIC of this change to a submitted application?

hi guys, glad to be here, I have a question is I got AOR on Dec16 2016, and everything is not needed at this time until Feb 23, is this normal or weird ? thank for the help.

Did you answer any statutory question as Yes?

and GCMS notes includes all the detail about your application processing... in includes current status and also notes from officers working on your application.

I noticed a few people stating they are hand delivering their passports. Do you have a choice? I thought I read somewhere that it must be couriered in.
