I got a request letter today to submit my passport to Canada High commision; with just 2 photosgraphs..
Does this mean I dont need to submit- hard copies of FBI PCC now..? I already uploaded it to MyCIC account but not sure if I still need to submit hard copies of it to Canada high commission as per previous letter...

I feel on a safer side, I shall submit it as well and ask them to return along with passport...right? Please advise.

I hope everything goes smoothly for me now..

I guess you just got PPR

I don't think you need to submit the hard copies of FBI PCC since they have already arrived at the final decision and you have already uploaded the scanned copy. So don't worry about it.

If you still have any doubt just call CIC agent and they will help you out with it.

quick question - when you received your PPR, was any address written on the bottom left side of each page? If yes, what address was written?

In my case, the address below was written and thats where i sent mine to.

I'm applying from Russia, there was no address on the PPR to send the passport to aside from the one in Ottawa. I guess each country has different procedures on how to get passports.

A small (really small) update on my PPR situation: I emailed my country's VO, asking them if I could send my passport to their office instead of Ottawa. Their reply was quick, but didn't change anything: "Please follow the instructions sent to you and contact CPC-Ottawa so that they make arrangements to print visas in a different office".

where did you find Recalculation date ?

Somewhere from pages 80 to 100. What does your notes says in the last few pages ? I finally see some progress when it says that the last update was May 1 which unlike others i didnt receive any email that my file has been updated and says that all PCCs are OK including the Rcmp screening. Its worth to read the whole thing. There's nothing much to do but wait.

It really doesn't matter, They collect the post from the PO box daily!

ECAS status : Application Received

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 20, 2015.
2. Medical results have been received.

Also myCIC shows:

ITA:16th feb
Application submitted with all docs and first AOR under CEC: 20 March
Medicals Passed : 5 May (ECAS showed above 2 lines since 5th may)
BG in progress: since 5 May

your insight would be really helpful. please suggest..
