So she doesn't go to the doctor when she is sick because she is worried that she can not afford the medication? What if the doctor doesn't prescribe any? Maybe they will give her free samples, send her for x-ray, tell her to change her diet, send her to a specialist, who knows. And what if they prescribe medication that is actually cheap. I am sorry but I do not understand this way of thinking. Does she apply the same to her child now that she has one?

I think your next step is definitely to get the CBSA travel history.

Help! I am a PR, and I meet the residency obligation, but I have been out of Canada for a while for medical reasons (I became unexpectedly very sick while in the US and wasn't permitted to fly). Now, I am finally better and want to go home, however my PR card has expired. I am a US citizen, though. Do I need anything other than my US passport to go home to Canada? The website says you MAY need a travel document, but I spoke to an immigration lawyer who says that I don't need anything other than my US passport. What is the truth? Does anyone know? Thank you in advance!

My daughter call the call center and was told that her file was in the London Immigration office.

Her son got ill couple of times and he is only 2 years old and has no status in Canada.
He came with his mum (my daughter). His Visit visa needs extending and that will also
cost money :(

My daughter faxed a letter to 1-519-691-8175

It has come to my knowledge that my application for renewal Permanent Resident Card has been forwarded to your
department in London Ontario.

Please would you review my application on compassionate grounds because I have a 2 year old son by the name
of Ahmed Ali Humayun Channa, born 9th January 2011 in UK Manchester. He has been with me in Canada since 7th
May 2012

My son Ali does not have any medical in Canada. Ali is a very bright child and I want to put him into a Preschool but my
main concern is that he does not fall ill as he is not covered for OHIP. I have been trying my best to keep him healthy as
possible. Ali today 8th March 2012 is ill with temperature and all I can do is buy medication over the counter.
I am writing this letter for my son health as there has been occasion that he has fallen ill with ear and throat infection and I
couldn't take him to hospital or a doctor due Ali being a visitor in Canada.

My parents are supporting Ali and me as much as they can in every way they possibly can. They too are worried for their
grand child.

If there is anything you need from me to help you to help me to get my PR Card please let me know. As I would like to change
the status of my son Ali and myself to a Canadian Resident so mother and son can enjoy living in Canada with one less stress in life.

I would like to put a request to you to review my application for renewal of my PR Card on compassionate grounds and as soon as
possible and please put it on fast track.

I truly would appreciate it very much if you could feel as a parent as I am very worried for my son health.

I need some advice. Should I hire a Immigration lawyer?

You realize that you can take your child to the doctor when he is sick. You just have to pay. You should really buy some kind of accident and emergency insurance for him if he becomes seriously ill or has an accident.

Also, you realize that your son does not need to be a permanent resident in order to receive education in Canada?

Yes she did claim on her Tax that is why she has been getting Notice of Assessment. Like I said before our account gave
a letter that my daughter has been filling her Tax return by him since 2007.

The doctor is NOT expensive its the medication because we dont have a health plan.'

My daughter does not have any club, hobby but yes she id work in a shop in sales as a voluntary. There again she will only
be given a letter that she worked for them.

My daughter called the call center and they said that the file is still at 55 St Clair Ave E, Ste 200 Toronto, ON M4T 1L8 and
they a doing further investigation and it may take up to 20 months.

WOW that along time.
CIC don't believe your declared presence in Canada. You should not have applied for PR Cards if there was any doubts as to meeting the Residence Obligation. Your story has too many holes in it for CIC's liking. I'm especially surprised how a pregnant woman having her first (very precious) child refuses to go to the hospital/ clinic for prenatal care...it just doesn't make sense. Also the she works/ volunteers but cash payments are made job is a huge red flag. The accountant would just file whatever you declare...they don't actually verify the job is legit but i'm assuming there were T4s for the accountant to work with. How much annual income is on the T4? Just give a ball park e.g +20K, +30K etc.

You need to get details of the pregnancy complications which prevented travel...they better not contradict her claimed in Canada days though by referring to consultations outside Canada on a day she claimed to be in Canada. These will help with the Humanitarian and Compassionate aspect of the application. I expect CIC to require movements records from you for UAE and Pakistan so get these too if they collaborate your declared absences.

You need to sponsor your son for PR and this will not happen when your PR status is unresolved. If your son's health is really affected then pay for his treatment or for his sake return to the UK where he will get 'first world' treatment under the NHS for free. Depending on your income you will be eligible for free prescriptions.

Good luck
