Dear I used the below ircc webform to inquire about my PR card which have not been sent even after 4 months.

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx?_ga=1.205999187.1942897962.1412879088&AspxAutoDetectCookieSupport=1

Upon contacting them, I was told that they wanted my updated home/current mailing address, even though i had given them my uncles canadian address in all forms when I landed.

Currently I am out of canada on a business trip.

Should i simply sent them my uncles mailing address them in the address notification section even though I am physically not present in canada ?

I mean I dont have a permanent canadian address so my uncles home for the time being serves as that, but physically im not present in canada right now, is my presence mandatory there in order for them to mail my cards ?

Kindly clarify with some expert advice.

Thanks

That's your uncle's address and not yours! They might be suspecting the same, so they request to update mailing address.

Steaky, they might be suspecting that -- but thats an assumption.

Even if the address is my uncles, i could be living there with him --- issue is whether my physical presence is required or not ? If you have a clear answer to that then reply

They could just be making sure whether i still wish to receive the cards at the same address i gave initially or whether i have moved to a new location and wish them to be sent there . . . maybe they just want confirmation from me directly ..

So not certain here . . . .

Then why don't you make a 3 way call and phone them?

Steaky isnt making a three way phone call even worse, cause ur calling from a canadian phone number even though you are not in canada.

They have already replied on webform saying they want updated current mailing address, so i should ask them the same question on phone ?

thanks

Or you can try calling CIC from a Canadian cell or internet phone number.
