Hello
I am currently out of Canada to take up a temporary job. Initially I planned to come back to Canada by December 30. But somehow that job was kind of extended to one more term until April/May.
In mid-October I received the invitation to citizenship exam. I responded by saying I could not attend it due to this situation. I believe they will send another invitation soon (I indicated that I expected to return to Canada by December 30). I wonder if I could update with the IRCC office with this. Will the process be very much delayed? I also think of just booking flights for a short trip for the exam. But I guess it's too costly to do so. I am planning to return anyway after this term is concluded.
Any advice? Does anyone know how to update the IRCC concerning things like this?
