Me again.
So my father in law is coming from Poland in 8 days. His eTA is 8n process. They sent email that we need to log in mycic and send additional dociments. After one month of trying to contact with them as their system didnt work and we never get to know what we need to srnd. So the thing is. My husband wrote down on eTA aplication that my fil has criminsl record. Due having 1 promile of alcohol and driving 3 years ago. We got report from police and it says that he is clear and dont have record.
Shall we reapply?

I don't think you need ETA anymore until next year

No, it's until fall 2016.

Problem now is that whilst they have delayed the ETA check until fall 2016 the OP has an ETA in process and the letter requesting additional info may say do not make travel plans until additional documentation provided. Whether this means the CBSA officer will see a reference to this against the passport do not know. Seems the whole ETA process is still creating problems and extra admin that did not exist before
