Hello,

I am on relationship for more than 1 year when we were living together, which what I understand it as a common law.

She has a ticket for nearest Thursday, but I am not sure if eTa is enough to cross the border. What documents would she have to present in order to legally cross the borders and stay about two months, has a return ticket and insurance.

I am not sure if we have enough time or she should change her ticket.

What will be essential reason to come? Is it enough that she is my common law and want to live with me ? Thanks.

Did you live together for a minimum of 12 months? Do you have the required proofs for common-law?

I don't know what is the require proof, but yes, we were living more than 12months together,we had the same adress, bills, rental contract. Is in Polish tho

I don't understand anything from governmental websites... There is no other way that sponsorship?

From your prior postings you had a IEC visa, and eventually became a PR, so you’d have had to become at least a bit familiar with the Government website to accomplish all that.

Yes. Enough to try, and then hire a lawyer. Thanks for your mindfulness. Will you help me anyhow now ... ?

Did you live together before you got PR? Your common law will need to provide proof that you are common law to be able to board the plane.

No, I live with her after becoming PR, outside Canada where I was finishing my university. What kind of proof she need ? Its a official documents? Who will check it, stewarda?

She'll show I'd with same adress as mine, and a few bills with the same adress, it might be enough. Hopefuly

That isn’t a lot of proof. You’ll need to decide whether it is worth the risk of losing money on a flight if she can’t board.
