i am still legally married but we are no longer together and i now have a common law partner based on Canada law. my partner and i wanted to visit Canada together, she has never been married. i know that my partner will choose the common law option, but what do i choose? how will i explain my situation?

To be in a common law relationship, you don't need to be divorced, you should have lived together 12 months without any relationships with your ex of course.
