Employment Letter - My Boss moved out of Canada

Hi Folks,

Need some suggestion

I applied for PR under CEC on Oct 3. my application status is "Appl recvd"
My boss gave a ref letter detailing my roles , duties , salary and etc at the time of filing the PR

Just recently my Boss has taken up a different role in the organization and has moved out of the country for good. what if CIC tries contacting him? Has one's employer are being contacted??

What should i do? Any help is greatly appreciated

I am in a similar kind of situation as you are in, but I just hope that CIC will not contact my supervisor and the letter which he gave me should be good enough to evaluate my duties under the NOC. I am a Nov'12 applicant and there is a high probability that you will be receiving your medicals before I do, so please do update me as soon as you receive your medicals.
