Hi! I had a question about this. I am employed by an agency to do contract work for another company. I am technically employed by my agency. My question is, I have a reference letter from my agency calling me an employee. Do I need to absolutely get one from the company I am being contracted to? If yes, what kind of letter should that be? Should it be basic and non-descriptive? My reference letter from agency will be very descriptive with my role and responsibilities.

I think the answer to this is yes but just wanted to know if I absolutely need to take this step as well.

You must get a letter from client describing your job responsibilities and start date, job title. The client is seeing your job duties every day but not your agency.

Thank you for your response! Is it okay if this letter is in a similar format as that of my agency with a few changes of course?
