I see. I got another ghost email today so hoping maybe, just maybe, I'll finally see my first bit of progress this Tuesday.

No updates for me Pawan. Just two ghost emails in three days. I'll take what hope I can get...

I got a phone call this morning from CIC asking what exact date I took my medical because they don't have any record of it.

Pretty sure the date must have been in my application but yah... who knows where my medical ended up. At least this means they're looking at my case!

It was the standard call centre number, I checked (yeah I was hoping it'd be a special agent hotline too ).

So guys, today my Ecas changed to:

Application Received

But I'm still only two lines... no medical received just received and processing on the 14th February.

A couple of questions if any other old timer cares to alleviate my stress a little:

I posted these questions in their own thread but threads tend to get buried quickly so apologies...


1) What does that status change usually mean? Does it mean I'm getting close?

2) Does anyone know of anyone who was cancelled after Application Received?

Bonus question: has anyone ever heard of Application Received status changed WITHOUT a medical received line in Ecas?

Yup mine was forever application received till may21 then all the sudden stuff moved like daylight

Now they have asked for my wife's Schedule A. Apparently there was a gap in the time. She's been unemployed at home since graduated from High School. Should I put "unemployed at home" ?

Hah nice. According to my case they haven't even processed my medical yet. Sheesh.

Hi Skouja -
I went through the same canceled FSW - switch to CEC timeline as you. Did my medical in Feb 19th, and finally I got my first update in MyCIC since submission - medical passed 11th June !!! Still in the game...everything else is still 'in progress'.
