What was the deadline given on their request for those documents? Are you within that deadline still?

It seems to me that there might be "parking" going on whereby, even if you upload within their deadline, your file will not be reviewed again prior to that time passing. However, others may know more or have different experiences.

It would be interesting to learn from others whether they had ever had responses earlier than the deadline for return of documents if they uploaded sooner.

Guys..Quick update, I got the Schedule-A request for me and my spouse, which I submitted today. Please see the spreadsheet in my signature for timelines.

I called CIC and asked if they have received my medicals since I did them more than 3 months ago. He said he can see the medicals there but the application hasn't been processed yet.

I'm really frustrated...I submitted it on Feb 17 and there has not been any updates....wtf?

Very similar situation for me...

I guess the (really crummy) upside is that surely we must get processed soon considering there are only like 5 of us in the system who applied in February but still haven't seen any updates yet. So surely we must be getting to the front of some queue somewhere by now?

Given my paper app has been processed within 6 months, maybe the tail end of last years paper apps has bee bundled into the EE pile, thus creating an EE backlog!!

There definitely seems to be something like that going on. I feel like perhaps we long timers have been bundled in with the later paper apps and paper apps such as yourself are being processed before our ones (which is fair enough).

It does make sense... after all the aim isn't "process as many apps as fast as possible" it's "process as many apps as possible before 6 months is done".

If the latter is the case, I think it's plausible to say "OK team A, here are X paper apps and Y of the first electronic apps. When you've done the paper apps just move on to the electronic ones and make sure it's all done within the 6 months".

I'm relaxing a little bit more of late as the cancellation frenzy seems to have chilled out but this whole thing has been helluva stress for me as I lost my job a few weeks ago so (a) I have no money coming in and (b) if they do cancel me I'm so, so screwed.

I am still waiting for almost 4 months with no updates at all.
