EE PROFILE - STEPS TO CREATE Plus DISCUSS YOUR QUERIES HERE

Since it was a little challenging, I am putting down steps here on how to create your EE Profile below

Step 1:
Go to link below to access COME TO CANADA tool
http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

Step 2:
Put all the details of your application to check your eligibility

Step 3:
If you are eligible, then a Personal Reference Code will be generated which will look something like this: QK4350881372.

Step 4:
Record your personal reference code as it is going to be used again later on

Step 5:
Register / log in to submit your online profile. To apply online, you will need an electronic "key" for secure access.
Register to get a key if you are a new user. Register here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp
Login to your account if you are a returning user. Login here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/mycic.asp

Step 6:
When you are logged in to your electronic credential (known as your key), you'll be automatically directed to CIC's online services called MyCIC. You will be prompted to register for an account if you are a first time user. Returning users will be directed straight to their account.
Once you are logged into MyCIC, then select "Express Entry" to continue

Step 7:
Enter your personal reference code. After you select "Express Entry", you will be asked to enter your personal reference code. A personal reference code is located at the top of this page and looks like this: QK4350881372.

Step 8:
Once you have entered your personal reference code, you will be guided through the following steps to complete your profile:
Complete the Express Entry Profile Builder
Review your profile
Submit your profile

Step 9:
After you submit your profile, you will see a page that confirms that your profile has been submitted.
It will have more information on next steps.
Shortly after you submit, you will also receive a confirmation message in your MyCIC account.

2nd question:

I am sure there are other people like me ..

I applied in FSW 2014 but was too late..

So in EE, there is a question qhich asks if I have applied to CIC before... If I say YEs, then there is a mandatory section to provide UCI number, which I dont have ..

What are you guys doing for this step?

For now I have put it as "No" for teh questions "Have I applied to CIC before?"

If cap is hit and your package is returned, I assume you can say no to that question b/c they will did not even review your profile.

My docs reached CIO on Dec 1st, I haven't received AOR yet, so no, I do not have UI, but it would be a lie to tell I haven't applied...
I really have no idea what to do here (I tried witj "n/a" and "none", doesn't accept that)

Ques: Under Intended work in Canada

Is A's job offer from the employer named on the current work permit?
We say No but it still asks for answer to next ques :

Four digit NOC code of current work permit

?? WHat are supposed to say if the work permit says N/A since its an open post graduate work permit.

Hi everybody, I am filling out my express entry profile and am at the "Immigration History and Citizenships" section under the "Personal Details" form where I am being asked if I have applied to CIC before. The answer is yes because I submit a FSW application on December 30th 2014. However, I do not have Unique Client Identifier yet and without providing this number the "Personal Details" form will show as "In Progress".

If I select the option that says I haven't applied to CIC before, the "Personal Details" form will appear complete.

Is there anybody else in the same situation?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Pleas eput your questions here. RIght now I am creating my profile and listing down questions as and when I see one.

There is space to add Passport details and National Identity Document details.

As far as I understand from FSW, Indians does not have any National Document. So should I just fill Passport details in that section??

Yep we only input passport details, thats the only Govt ID we have.

I am now surfing the CIC website but I cannot seem to find the link that will direct me to begin setting up my Express Entry profile.

Same problem for me. I send application on 27th Oct 2014, No update on that like Cap filled or application returned. Now EE is asking about it. Experts please help.

I suggest you call CIC. You cannot say you did not apply if you applied and have not been declined and at the same time you did not get confirmation and UIN . I would not like to make any mistakes, and give CIC an opportunity to consider misrepresentation, and I would call CIC to ask.
