Hi,

I got the same issue when i created my profile first.
It has to do with "number of academic years". YOu have mentioned only 1,
I think you need to mention the total number of years you have studied

Elementary/Primary School : 7
Secondary/High School : 5
University College: 4
Masters : 1 or 2
Total : 7+5+4 ( + 1 or 2) = 16 (17 or 18)

When i created my profile based on this calculation the second time, i got through.

To the best of my knowledge, you need to have a LMIA in order for the job offer to be counted.

Thank you NewGirl_sk, I will try it. I have another question about it, Do I need to list all my educational experience from Elementary School to University? Do I need to do ECA for all of them?

Thank you again for your help!

Thank you for your replying nads1, I'm thinking to apply for EE under FSW stream. I thought LMIA was not mandatory for FSW stream. Please correct me if I misunderstood it. Thanks again!

Nope, I got mine assessed for my B.Tech only..
If you have done masters however, better to get Bachelors and Masters assessed.
But secondary school or earlier is not necessary.

Hey,
You only need to make a new application/profile within your same account. I don't think ppl can update the profile after they got ineligible. I created several already.
Good luck!

Thank you very much! The thing is that I finished my master in Canada. Do I still need to do ECA for my bachelor?

Justbo,

Their site says

You must have:

a Canadian secondary (high school) or post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree, OR
an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report from an agency approved by CIC to show your foreign education is equal to Canadian education standards.

Looks like you might not need an ECA if your last degree is from Canada.

Please confirm with other experts also.

You may not have enough points to qualify for FSW. You need to be qualified for one of the stream FSW, CEC or FTW before you can enter the Express Entry pool.
