I have a CRS score of 450.Done with IELTS Band 8. Currently residing in US with > 1 Year work experience. Any chances for me to increase the score or any information about score coming down. :(.

Dear friends,

I just woke up to very bad news :(. My SINP application got rejected and status is now "Ineligible Application"

Requirements not met:
Principal Applicant ‐
You did not score the minimum 60 points on the SINP point assessment grid. You have not received
as many points as you claimed for work experience. From SINP assessment, the duties of your work
experience closely match the description of NOC 2174 Computer programmers and interactive
media developers, which is not in demand in Saskatchewan.

What should I do now?

Guys I think this bullet point was added recently on the OINP website

Ontario anticipates that it will receive its 2017 nomination allocation from the federal government before the end of November 2016, and the province expects to be in a position to accept applications for some streams in six months.

Did anyone see his before??

Let me know.

Thanks

This was always there, no new updates. Waiting for new updates from OINP.

Sorry to hear that. Now, you have two options:
1. Either to challenge this decision with a secondary review - only if you think that this current decision has been unfair.
2. Move on, recreate another EE profile and apply for other PNPs like OINP, etc.

Last year, even I was rejected by SINP EE for having funds in a joint account with parents.
All the best.

Do you have any idea what is their calculation for "Job Experience"? Is it hours based? If yes, then how many?

Anyone has an idea how job exp points are calculated in SINP? its on pure number of years or on number of hours ?

why would I create another EE profile? My EE profile is still valid and I can try for OINP if I want from the this very application.

I have just heard from a contact that work experience is calculated as 32 hours a week for 52 weeks = 1664 hours makes 1 year, is this true? Can anyone throw a light on this if they have knowledge about it.

How many work experience do you have?

If you recreate a new EE profile now, then that will give you 12 months more time period from now - provided your language scores would be still valid.

False.

It is calculated at 30 hours per week (1560 hours per year).

Thanks Raj.

1) Does this same calculation apply to SINP too?
2) If yes, then my working hours are 48hrs per week and I have been working since Feb 2013 - till date in NOC 2171, so how much years of experience I should consider for myself, based on their calculation of 30 hrs per week = 1 year?
