dear experts...need advice

our score is 435 (my wife is primary), noc 2174......i'm wondering whether there are any ways to improve our score without a job offer..i don't have any ties to Ontario and i never been there, more over, i didn't receive any PT so i can't comment there.......also, can i have a hope with this score? the score never gone below 450 and i guess they even issued less ITA to retain the score in one of the previous draws.....

suggestions plz....thanks a ton

try retaking ielts for a higher score (if she hasnt maxed out yet) or if she has other work experience in another noc she could include that

I am sitting at 436 and i am quite hopeful
But you can try to boost your scores by getting your diplomas evaluated (if that is not done yet) + your IELTS

@ Shah - Dude, even I have hired a consultant to do all the PR related things for me, and I too don't have access to my CIC account. It's the lawyer who is affiliated to the consultancy who has it. I didn't bother asking why don't I have access to my CIC, but I did ask them 'how will I come to know if I have any message/notification?' , and they said 'the CIC profile is associated to your email ID. If there is a notification, you will get notified on your email.'

It sounds weird, but I guess there must be a valid reason as to why the candidates don't have access to myCIC.

Atleast you can still hope for OOPNP, I don't have that option cos I' got EE created in April. :

I have resorted to another solution, every week, I drop an email to my Consultants and ask them to confirm whether Notification of Interest is received in my account. And they take a day or two to confirm that it hasn't...

I don't know why still we haven't received the Notification.
If anyone has any idea about it then please enlighten us. I think if you have a score above 400, OOPNP searches your EE Profile from the pool and raises a Notification to you....however I haven't received it although it has been more than 3 weeks that my profile has been activated. Am I missing anything.....??? Am is supposed to do anything...apart from mentioning All provinces????

Please guys help...since this waiting is killing.

In case of OOPNP invite you don't get an email from Ontario directly. It comes as a message in your EE profile. It is really surprising for me that you are not given access to your own EE profile. I have hired an immigration consultant myself but I have access to my account. But I don't know if the case is different for immigration lawyers.
There is actually nothing much you can do about getting an invite other than create a profile after June 1st, have a score higher than 400 and select either all provinces or multiple provinces including Ontario.

I have checked it with them... all they have to say is ITS THEIR COMPANY POLICY, although its no-where mentioned in my Contract with them. I am going to give it some time...if I get frustrated, i will surely bring this contract issue with them and try and see if they agree to share it with me.

They are saying, that they have a single- userid and password for all of their candidates and that's why they cant share it with me....STUPIDITY.

Thank you Sita, at least now we know that once we get an email notification that the CIC account has been updated, we disturb the sleep of our lawyer.

Hello Shah,

As per my lawyer, CRS 400 is the minimum requirement for the PT but that does not mean that everyone above 400 will receive a PT in their EE profile for OOPNP. Moreover, there are very few PTs being issued now a days. I'm also in the same boat and have asked my lawyer to change my preference to reside option to 'All Provinces'. I will keep you guys posted.

I have also heard that significant amount of PTs have already been issued for about 2700 seats, which also means that everyone who has received a PT and applied for OOPNP will not be in the final 2700.

So, hoping for the best and best wishes for everyone in this thread.

That is indeed a dumb excuse to give to clients!! And it is practically impossible for them to use the same user name and password for all clients...
Anyway hope u resolve this issue soon..

Please check with your consultants if they have given your email id in the EE profile...only then will you receive any mails from CIC.

This report is a snapshot of the Express Entry system for the initial six months of implementation. It is based on a data extract as of July 6, 2015 and it represents only one moment in time. It includes information on the number of invitations issued since the launch of Express Entry in early January 2015, as well as information on candidates in the Express Entry pool.

As of July 6, 2015, a total of 112,701 foreign nationals had submitted an Express Entry profile. Of these, 48,723 were found not eligible because they did not meet the criteria of at least one of the three programs managed by the system; 4,302 were pending due to Job Bank registration or verification of their Provincial Nomination by a Province or Territory; 6,441 withdrew their profile; 41,218 were eligible to be invited to apply; and 12,017 were invited to apply for permanent resident status.

almost 48,723 of the EE profiles were rejected out of 112,701 as they don't meet the criteria, now that's some number. I always had this feeling that many candidates will try to prove them highly skilled in order to get into the pool and secure the ITA. It's better to be honest and wait for the right time.

Hello people

Long time lurker and first time poster here. Firstly thank you for all the information you guys have posted in the thread.
So, I am at CRS score 441, haven't yet given up hope on getting an ITA and there is a small query that I need your counsel on.
I am an Indian citizen working there, and I am being offered a short term opportunity to work at Netherlands as a part of my job (should be around 6 months), and if everything falls into place as expected I may have to leave in 2 months. My question is that if I happen to be abroad at the time when I get an ITA, how difficult would it be for me to pursue the rest of the process ? Would my going derail the whole application process ?

Also, can I take some advance measures to be prepared ? As in, can I apply for the PCC and Medical checks and be ready with them in advance ? (I also suppose that I may have to get a PCC for the time I am in a different country as well.) Or does the requirements mandate that you should get these done only after you get your ITA ?

Please help!
