Hi Guys,

Yeheeyyy!!! My account @ ecas is back and it says they received my fulll application and is now pending for review. Swaps 82, as per my tracking at Fedex CHC LOndon received my full application on the same day as yours, thats June 23. I think people on this thread are on the same timelines and we will all be receiving our visas hopefully early next year. Please guys let us all join our prayers for the sucess of all our applications. Let us keep ourselves updated with any development of our respective cases in this thread. God Bless YOu all guys!

mom2carl,

I don't expect I will receive the same letter swaps82 had posted so soon because I am in Saudi Arabia and my local visa office is CHC London. But taking swaps82's experience, I will be receiving the same certainly around 2 weeks from now. Good Luck to you.

Thank you aspire and all the best to you too!

Guess what??!!

Yesterday my eCAS changed to 'received by visa office'. This morning I received the AOR itself from the postman. I can't believe it myself.....so fast.

They received my full application on July 1, my eCAS changed last night, and today, July 15, I got the AOR letter which is the same as what swaps82 received.

swaps82, I believe you have the same noc as me, 1111, which I saw in another thread.

I hope and pray we get passed the points and NOC checking stage. Good luck to all!

MOm2 carl,

Congratulations! Can you share to this thread the contents of your letter received from local visa office, if there is any? The post office service of your place must be very good in doing their job. Its so fast.

mom2karl.. can you pls let know your visa office and your location?

aanbaan,

It's Manila, Philippines.

aspire,

The first paragraph is the same as what swaps82 mentioned above but before that they will mention the exact date when they received your application. Next to that is:

Processing Time

Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to require on average 12 months to process at this office. If you have not received any instructions from this office within 45 days from the date of this letter, you are requested to contact this office directly.

Interview

You will be notified of the appointment for your interview, if required, prior to the date of the interview, and you will be provided with further instructions at that time.
(After this they state Section 15 and 16 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act).

Interpreters

Interpreters must be arranged in advance
....and so on and so forth.

Other reminders do not apply, example: for those who do not reside in the area of responsibility of the visa office.

Next comes the reminders about notifying them in case there are changes in your personal circumstances....

Prepare Yourself For Immigration to Canada (these are reminders that are almost the same as the reminders in the 1st AOR: gather information on Canada, research on potential employment, Going to Canada internet site, etc.)

That's all actually. I hope this helps...

Mom2carl,

Thank you very much. So, the 12 months processing time CIC first mentioned is not really from the date of submission to CIO Sydney. It is 12 months from the date local visa office received full application? I just hope this is the maximum processing time it could take, but there is still the possibility that it can be finalized in less than a year from the date visa office acknowledged receipt of full application.
Or this may also vary depending of the local visa office. CIC London as per my monitoring has always been faster than Manila CHC.

Hi!,
Yes, my NOC is 01111. My status online just shows received by Visa Office.
Lets hope all of us get a positive reply. I had sent all docs. on 18th June.
Im sure they should not take more than two months for their next step after this.
Hopefully, which is Medical requests.
Lets keep everyone updated with wat happens to their applications.

All the best.

Regards,
Swaps

Hi all
Swaps82, i checked m eCAS status first time today.......where they mentioned "Centralized Intake Office Sydney (CIO-S) Eligibility Review Complete". i send my final file to CHC ND on 6 july,2009. n they recieved that on next day on 7th. So i think most of d participant of this blog r running on same timeline track....so plz update this topic time to time..........

Hi! Jasskhalsa,
I've replied to your Q on your posted thread, which is as follows:

The CIC website usually updates info. on Tuesdays. So check your application status on Tuesday.
Do not worry. All the best. I had gone through the similar stuff as yours, but my application shows received
by Visa Office & it showed on Tuesday.

Most of us are in this similar stage now & desperately waiting for Medicals. We have to keep each other informed if any progress.

Regards
Swaps

hi aspire,

I believe the 12 months processing time starts from the date they start to actually process our application which is around the time when our ecas status change from 'received by visa office' to 'in process'. I'm just not sure how updated ecas is, esp. that it's only updated every Tuesday.

From the trackers and forums, I think they are really targeting the 12-month processing time as that's how they are measured. It is the max processing time so visa stamping can take place earlier than that.

We have a kababayan whose initial application was received in CIO NS on May 7 and this morning she received her request for medicals. She submitted her full application on June 16. Isn't that fast?!!

Mom2carl,

Does the kababayan u are referring to has a job offer in her PR application? PR application with job offers are given the priority. Thanks.
