ECA duplicate copy refund issue

Hey everyone! One of friends sent his application package 3 days ago. He also wrote an email to WES regarding the refund for an extra copy to CIC. However, he received an email from WES that said they have reviewed the case and according to them he has only overpaid 7$ which they will refund.. I was under the impression that WES will refund 40$ ( for an extra copy sent to CIC).. Any thoughts??

Problem solved!!!

He got a refund of 7$ first. And then after 2 days he got a refund of another 33$. So overall refund of 40$. So anyone facing the same issue, don't worry, the refund takes a few days!!

So far I have received a refund of only $7 - that was two weeks ago.
I am awaiting to hear from WES if they are going to provide any additional refund.

They will refund! It normally takes them 3-4 weeks to refund the money. However, you may drop an email to the WES support ( thats what my friend did) saying that you don't need an additional copy sent to CIC. It might expedite the process. Worth a shot

Yes, I have already sent them a message after I placed the order and have not received any response from them.

Then probably you'll have to wait for few more days. Or you can also try following up on mail. If you have made the payment via credit card, then just to be sure, check your balance again. Because in my friend's case they recredited the amount.

I got ECA report from CES. after getting report i have changed my 3year (B.Com) + 1year (M.Com) transcript into consolidated 4year. (BS program), (no further education added.)

should i need to go again to CES.?????

Please guide ECA report will be verified in future through original Documents or its enough to have previous ECA Report????

I need a paper copy delivered to my home address as the earlier one sent by WES never reached me. How much would be the cost for ordering a duplicate report. When i check online it asks me to pay $30 for sending the report so CIC and $30 for sending another paper copy to my address. The problem is that i just want a new paper copy. Do i have to pay a total of $60? How can we order just a paper copy?

Hi, Since there is a bug in the system, you'll initially have to pay 60$. But then you can raise a request and tell them that you don't need another copy to be sent to CIC. I think they'll refund you the amount for CIC copy. That's what i think. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Any idea how much more days I have to wait to get the final decision?
