E cas status disappeared

I can't check my e cas status , I was able to check it till Saturday but since yesterday it's nt there

Hi There... You are not alone...It happened to a few of us.. Not sure why. I am not able to access my Ecas since Friday evening. To me this happened after sending the passports for stamping. I have been able to access it all along but not as of now.

There is no specific explanation to that but basis information on some other forums, this happens either

1. CIC is updating Status on Ecas
2. Technical Glitch

Hopefully this should be up and running soon.

It was happen 2 me in March 2011 and on enquiry CIC assigned me new file number.
Actually I was assigned a file number started with B..... with my 1st AOR. Later, when I was getting trouble in signing-in, I sent my query to CIC. Then, they gave me another file number started with E..... Now I am using the new-one for checking my ECAS status.

I will recommend you to write email and inform your problem, probably they will assign you new file number. I guess, it's not a system glitch as we are not facing such problem.
