Dear Captain and the rest of the 'Guru's ....

For months now i have been a silent reader of this forum... which has helped me keep my sanity and answer many of my question. Today i write to you all.... very distressed... and need your advice before i do anything.

To cut a long story short.... my husband is the Primary applicant. He has been laid off work just this Monday. ... And his Visa is due to be cancelled immediately due to the situation of the company.

We just submitted our medicals first week of August and sent in out DD for our landing fee.

My Question is ....??? If my husband is on my sponsorship (Residency Visa)... when by the grace of God we get our PPR ... would it be an issue..??
I am a teacher in the UAE and i am in a position to sponsor my husband and my child

Regards

Teacherji !! :(

As SATDXB rightly said, the Job lost at this stage wont affect your application.
Just one thing to take note is that make sure you are in a position to submit the passports of all the family members in a single package.
Any way do not loose hope. Praying for your immediate PPR. You guys are in more urgency than me i feel.

Hi, very sorry to hear all about this.

But dont worry, it will have no effect on your application. Once you receive the PPR, dispatch all the PPs. But do note that you will have to dispatch the PPs from Dubai for visa stamping, as its prohibited to dispatch PP from India/Pakistan.

Captain/Biju and other Senior members will also share their respected advise.

Cheers..

Thank you so much SATDXB.....!!

Yes i do intend to apply for his visa on an urgent basis......!! As soon as the company gives me his pp back which should be after the Eid Break ...!!

Then i have to get pp ready with stamped visa ... in case we get the big 'Gold Star' our PPR :)

Yes we will send them from Dubai..... and yes we will send them together ...!!

God Bless !!

Warm Regards

Don't worry as SATDXB said.

However, your husband has to update the VO of this change in his status. Don't worry, this shouldn't impact your app processing, however ensure that your POF is available and ready should the VO asks for it again.

Abu Dhabi - only if u aren't an FSW [or any 'economic stream'] applicant. Rest goes to CHC-London or the VO of your homeland [whatever u had chosen while applying].

U may scan its copies & email it to your VO. Alternatively, u could also send it thru snail-mail [the 1st is an easier way out though].

Hi iluvbaguio
Why do you need an updated PCC if you have already got your PRV and about to land on October.

Hi Soby!

Just want to have one just in case they require me to provide when I am applying a work in Canada. Same here in the Philippines, I am also requesting a clearance for future needs.
