you can go to CID head office near al mulla plaza along with orignal passport and 2 photos and AED 110 fee they give you one application form, fill simple details and then they take your digital sign and fingure impression and give you a date after 3 days to pick the ppc

This is really very sad situation with mixed feelings of anger and depression. I am an old applicant who received file number under the old system in January 2008. Till now I am waiting for my requirement letter and nothing has come up yet. Could anyone share any infromation in this reagard?
In our file number letter it was written that it will take 46 to 48 months to process our application. What does it mean? Does it mean that within 46 to 48 months all the process will complete or does it mean that after 46 to 48 months we will just receive our requirement letter?
Your input in this regard is highly appreciated as I have already waited for almost 37 months....

Agreed. You don't need at all to update VO on the renewed UAE visa. The only reason the VO asks for residence at the first place is to ensure that you correctly sent your file to the correct office. Since this fact was established, I don't see a need to resend the new copy of the visa.

Biju, when I sent my full documents (June 2010) my visa is not expired. It is valid until Jan 2011.
