Dear Seniors,

My elder brother applied for Alberta driving permit in Edmonton. He has taken experience letter from RTA, while applying he was informed that he got to surrender his UAE driving licence to get Alberta's one as per rules.

He has to come back to Dubai for couple of months to arrange final departure with family,
and he would need UAE licence to move around. Pl suggest what should he do under these circumstances.

I have got the G license in Toronto and have not surrendered Dubai License

1. Which is the optimal courier/postal service to send docs to FBI?
2. How does FBI return us the report, there is no mention of return courier arrangements/charge? Do they use USPS?

I need to clarify some of my doubts.
I have never gone to Canada neither I have applied before.

• Can I apply for the first time itself as a FSW for a permenant resident visa

Or

• Do I need to visit canada before applying for PR VISA

Or

• Do I need to apply for a temporary resident visa and stay in Canada for few months then apply for PR VISA

Usually as of my knowledge no country will provide you with a PR VISA as a new immigrant or to first time visitor, but still when I read CIC programs it confused me that its possible to apply for PR VISA , but CIC website doesn't state clearly that whether a person can apply for PR VISA who has never gone to Canada before.

Will the canada Immigration issue PR VISA to the persons before they land?

I am planning to prepare my application for FSW now.
Kindly let me know the exact thing. As you all are there, you might have got experience of all these stuff.

Yes, you will get PR visa stamped on your passport even though you have not landed in Canada anytime.

You need to check following for applying under FSW:-

1) Occupation List (check whether the CAP** has reached or still you can apply)
2) Your IELTS (English language test result)
3) Education Credential Assessment

** There is a limit of 300 applications per year for each category such as IT, Doctors, Etc. If the limit is reached , you cannot apply this year and try next year.
