hi i recently moved to toronto, if you means you education credentials, i did it from WES (world education service) just check the link

Can you give us details on how you went about the process
The WES site asks to submit a clear copy of the degree - which is easy to do &
Marksheets attested by Controller of examintation/registrars office - which is difficult cause most of us are in Dubai

Yes, you need to wait till new annoucement

Got my PR card exactly 1 month after Landing...

No u have to wait for Immi. Dept's guidelines, The most tedious part of the process is to get your transcripts/marksheets from ur university in unversity sealed envelope. Normally assessment agency send a request to your university for your marksheets in their sealed envelop.....the trick here is that u get it done beforehand coz most Univ. don't take that seriously ... That is the Only time consuming thing in the whole Process...

thank you for this post, that clears up my question earlier about this issue. and yes, i'm also on the look-out when are they going to publish the list of designated organizations to do this credential assessment. will post here if anything comes up.

they peocess is quite simple, first you need to apply online and fill the online form. you will received the email from WES containing a form which has your refference no. you have to fill the the upper part of the form .and the lower part is for the university.
then you have to contact your university(not the collage) for the transcript, normally university suppose to sent the transcript to the WES, canada. but to be on safer side get the transcript from the university in a university sealed envelop and request them to keep the form you received from WES in the same envelop. then you courier that envelop to WES canada from the same city. (its important)
if you cant go then you have to arrange someone else who can go on your behalf. requesting the transcript. document required marksheet photocopy + required fee
your university will only send the attested marksheet copy you have to send the degree photocopy copy(not attested).

note - for payment option i choose DD, so you dont need to make the payment immediately. and you will received your refference no, then once your all document are ready that time you can make the payment by Credit card or DD whatever suites you.

you can apply online and then you have to send the attested marksheet copy to WES in university seal envelop you dont need relative in toronto for that.
check the site for fee, and its vary depend with evaluation you want. i have done course to course and it cost me 310 canadian dollars which inculdes 30 $ for courier. again its depend which evaluation you go for.

how much did they charge u?? n in how many days u got ur assessment done??

can ne1 tell me if there is a relative in toronto can they do the courier for credential assessment? or do we have to do it personally???

I had submitted my education certificates , marksheets, degrees just by notarization ( tried to get from university with sealed envelop but no use and waste of time). It worked fine through the process

Get your education certificate, marksheets notarized and it will be fine.

now i am confused!!! is it compulsion to get university envelope sealed??? as we r in dubai n it is not possible to send it back india to get it sealed..... r u sure only notary is enough??????

n notary shud be done on copies right???? n if yes then do we need to do notary on all semister markssheets???? n add on is if we put an envelope ourself n do notary on it n put all our certificates in tht will tht work????

I also did the samething what coolguy did, which was accepted..
All the semester marksheet copies and certificate copies were notarised from Dubai...
