Hey all.. Congrats for all those who got MR, PPR & VISA.

I need to know something from those who get their visa. Is the validity (expiry date) of the visa exactly one year from the day we did our medical???
Please confirm.

Yes that's right exactly one year from date of medical. The visa validity date will be written on it as well

Now I have obtained my Driving experience Certificate from RTA Dubai yesterday and they stamped on it ! but do I also requires to get it attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs UAE before bringing to Canada ?

do u have any idea whether abu dhabi traffic police can issue such driving experience as my Driving license is issued from abu dhabi but my car is registered with RTA.

Not necessarily. Pls read below:

Your landing at any POE in Canada will depend on the validity of your PR visa.

The visa shall be valid till:
a) 1 yr from the "date of your med results", OR
b) The 'Expiry date of your passport', OR
c) The 'Expiry date of any of your accompanying family members' passport's.

Whichever is earlier.

Hello all,,

there is a new bad news for all, i never wanted to be the face to tell that but thats true, i was just surfing CIC website and was amazed to read that all the M1 aplicants who have applied in LVO ....the processing time for new STATS is 33 months as of 01-02-2013...Freaked out man, instead of reducing the time they are increasing the time like anything, WTF......................

Visit the Traffic Dept in Abu Dhabi and check with Customer service, I am sure they are also issuing same experience certificate without any problem .

Or else call RTA Toll free number or visit website and fill contact us form and put your concern there, they get to you within48 hours as I did the same !

"RTA" Road & Transport Authority.
"Lesson Bayanat" Name of Certificate.
Validity: 02 months only.
