Deeply sorry for your loss friend. Let the deceased rest in peace.
I just wanted to share my case. My passport reached there on November 26 and to my bad I am still waiting for it in Dubai. I wish it does not happen to you and you receive it as soon as possible.

I have sent my Passports on 9th Dec 2012 and CHC recieved on 11th Dec 2012 but on 15th Dec 2012 but elder brother died in Bomb blast in Pakistan millitant attack on Peshawar air port . So i didnt have passports to travel as i am working in UAE. I am now elder at home and my parents are desperate to see us and counting mins.
Any one help me when i will get passport.
Please update me as it will be cared to wipe up of my tears.
I have recieve one email from some one as my consultant send many emails requesting to expediate the process and they are ready to picl up the passport through fast courier but we didnt get any reply from them. Every single seconds is for me horribel as my family desperatly needs me as they are homeless.
please advise what to do?

Dear brother
My condition was terrible but still went to Pakistan consulate. And thanks to them they immediatly prepared mannual passports for all of us.than we went to Dubai immigiration through last level but they didn't coperate as ther were not puting another sticker as according to them there is no law and can leave but no return to UUAE.As we lost everything and I am now only earning memeber so couldn't take risk.
All of friends than advised to wait because there is no other way.I really don't know what to do and how to do.I am lost and except to wait no options left.

Get the letter from the division with which you were working earlier, specifying the fact that the company you worked for has split into two. I did the same thing and it seemed to have worked fine.

Dear Brother, It is very sad to hear about your brother. May Allah rest his soul in heaven and give the family, especially to the wife and children courage to pass through this hard time.

Seniors already advised you about the issue and specially Mr. Qorax has mentioned that PP has to go through the process for visa stamping, but in my opinion there is no harm if you send an e-mail to LVO with urgent in subject line and explain the situation and request if they can expedite the visa stamping and delivery of PP on priority basis. We saw some cases here on the forum, where ppl send the CSE and LVO only act upon the CSE. So better try your luck instead of waiting.

When ever I think about him my tears automatically coming out because he was my best friend as well and just 3 yrs elder from me.

Allah sub kuch khob janta hai.
This is transit world and we have to go one day as well.

Hi everyone,
Just came back from an extended vacation and so much has hapenned, except on my case ;D.

I wrote an email to VO today to remind that my medicals are expring in mid april, and within 15 minutes I received the following reply:

The situation remains as previously advised and background checks remain outstanding. W regret that the checks will take several months and that the medical results are likely to expire before the checks are concluded.
We will advise further when we are in a position to do so.

A bit of a fix to be in, as my kid has to start university this fall. Not sure whether I pursue canadian universities or other universities under the assumption that it can take for ever for our approvals.

But no worries. I just have to replan the old plan with a dream to move in summer of this year .

Sorry Bestpal, i cant party with you this year in Toronto. Maybe next year .

I am following this forum for couple of weeks now. After seeing the love among humankind on this forum Today i gathered courage and posting my status.

-received your application for permanent residence on April 22, 2010.
-reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 23, 2010.
-transferred your application to the London England office on July 28, 2010.
-application was reviewed and we started processing on April 10, 2012.

Processing time is 32 months. I believe mine is taking little more than that. What can be the holding up? How can I find out?
