Hi Captain,

There is little bit confusion for payment to RPRF at Paris Office.

1) If Demand draft is made in US$, then in which name to be prepared ( i hope Immigration Section - Embassy of Canada, Paris, France )
2) Will there be any charges at receiver end , and do we need to bother about that ...?
3) Cheques/Draft issued in Canadian dollars by a bank located outside of Canada must clearly indicate the bank correspondent's complete address and account number in Canada, this being the establishment through which the cheque may be cashed in Canada

Apperciate your valuable suggestion for same.

Below is the Instruction for payment of RPRF at Paris Office:-

In Euros
By bank transfer, to the following account:
Transfer to: Immigration Section - Embassy of Canada, Paris, France

For transfers from within France:

For transfers from a country other than France :

BIC code (Swift): BREDFRPP
Information that will allow us to identify the principal applicant must be provided with the transfer: family name, given name(s) and date of birth.
Important: Please ensure that all transfer fees have been paid and that they will not be deducted from the amount payable to the Embassy.
You must send us proof of payment (receipt issued by the bank) clearly indicating your application number. The receipt must be legible and must show the date of the transfer. Please keep a copy for your own files before sending the receipt.


In Canadian Dollars
By bank draft or certified cheque drawn on a Canadian bank and made out to the Canadian Embassy.
Cheques issued in Canadian dollars by a bank located outside of Canada must clearly indicate the bank correspondent's complete address and account number in Canada, this being the establishment through which the cheque may be cashed in Canada.

As far as i know...
1. Receiver General for Canada
2. No. The DD amount has to be CAD 980(490 for PA & 490 for spouse)
3. In my case, i took the DD from HSBC and it was written in the DD as "To, HSBC Bank Canada, 5th floor, 70 York Street, Toronto, Ontario M5J 189, Canada" payable at any branch of HSBC Bank Canada in Canada.

1.duely filled app form
2.marks sheets,marraige n other cert with notary
3.job cer
4.ielts
5.police clearence

Anything is left???? Do we need to attach credentials assessement too while inital submition of app form???
N if we visited india or other middle east places in last 5 yrs do we need to mention dates and do we need to specify the reason of visit or thts nt necessary???? ???

N notary shud be done in Dubai only???? Or india is also fine as i have few docs tht i have done notary in india ...now shall i do the notary again in Dubai???

N notary shud be done in Dubai only???? Or india is also fine as i have few docs tht i have done notary in india ...now shall i do the notary again in Dubai???

Hi,

U need to apply for an appropriate visa at the US Embassy here. It may be granted or may not... usually for a newcomer it'd be hard to get, b'coz of non-established ties (yet) in this country. However, once u have a job, a residence (tenancy or purchased) and some funds in ur bank -- it could be issued.

You need to submit all education certificates and mark sheets from 10th std to graduation.

Take a copy of all docs and go to lawyer and get notarized.

Notarisation are of 2 types:-
1) Red seal notarize which is costlier than 2nd below
2) Simple notarize ( certified true copy )

You can do 2nd type. Make sure stamp and seal of lawyer is there

Start the process of getting duplicate mark sheets/certificates asap, it is required.
