This is to update you that my e-case status has changed into IN PROCESS today ! Inside information is same RBVO/Pending review ! Glad to see some change in e case after 13 months waiting !

I am sorry i will not be able to attend get togather on 08th April 2011 as i am in Pakistan and my NIKAH (registered marriage) is sheduled on 9th April 2011.

Certainly i am gonna miss this get togather as last meeting was simply superb !

Hii Folks, I got the passport request and i sent the passports on 20th March 2011. Do anybody have any idea when they will return them. what i see from forum is some people get in 20 days and some in two months.

Also please help me with resonable short term rental for family in Mississuaga. I heard about Studio One, is there any other options.

I'm newbie in this forum. i've been reading this treads for a couple of days now and reach almost 1/4 of it and more pages to go.

One of captain Qorax post mentioned about accommodation in Toronto , particularly in Safehomestay and Studio 6.

Does any body stayed in this place? Am planning to make my landing by Mid of August and no close friends/ relatives in Toronto.

Moreover, do you think 2 weeks would be enough complete the necessary formalities.

Please advise.

Hi, many members have stayed in SAFEHOMESTAY, and found it good. I myself have plans to stay there.

Well, within two weeks duration, you can only receive your SIN card and open your bank. But for receiving the PR card, you will have to stay minimum 6 weeks and getting the MEDICAL card , 3 months.

I sent mine and my family Passports to London office for visa stamping on 7th March 2011. Online status is still showing application in process. Please can you guide me how much time will it take to get visa stamped. Should i submit online equiry for the status

I think it is early to send an enquiry. Most probably you will see your status changed within one week. I would suggest sending enquiry after 6 weeks from the date of passport submission. Wish you receive your passport the earliest.

You can send a enquiry on 7th April. No probs at all. They have specifically written on PPR that if u do not hear from them in 30 days u can contact them.

My consultant sent mine last Feb 21. Ecas only showed DM last March 22. And we got our passports back last March 29.
