I can apply in Dubai VO and also in London VO

As I am from Pakistan but living in Kuwait.

Please let me know which one is better?

There is no such thing as 'Dubai VO'. The VO in UAE is in Abu Dhabi and it does NOT process FSW applications.

So London is your only choice since it is the VO for Pakistan as well as there is nothing domestic there.

Hello Experts and Seniors,
Any one from Dubai and chose NDVO as Visa office.

I want to know what is the procedure of submitting passports at NDVO from Dubai.
How much time it take for visa stamping once we submit passport?

Kindly advise.

If NDVO does not request you to submit your PP to Abu Dhabi upfront, then you have 1 of 2 choices left:

- Send a request (letter or email or both) to NDVO requesting that the stamping be transferred to Abu Dhabi. In this case you will also have to submit evidence of you being resident of UAE (VISA Copy must + DEWA/SEWA bill etc).

OR

- Travel to India and submit the passport to NDVO with a return address within India. NDVO will not courier Passports to an address outside India.

The second option does not seem feasible for people working in the UAE (or any other country) and having NDVO as their local VO.

Hello all..
Quick question for those who got visa in dubai.
Once we get the pp request, for the visa to get stamped from abu dhabi; can we go in person to get it done or does it have to be by courier?

Thnx

There is no point in going in person (unless you are living close to the consulate) because the procedure is not instant.

The whole process takes 3-4 weeks before your PP is stamped and sent back.

At first, You need to submit your application to CIC, Canada, once positive eligibility is determined, it will be forwarded to London visa office for further processing. For current location/residence, you need to mention Abu dhabi, if you are in Abu Dhabi currently residing more than a year.

Thanks dear...

Personally, I don't think it would be a problem since a visitor in UAE has to 'exit' the country to make the visit visa invalid. Similarly, your home country do not need the entry stamp for someone who'd went out on 'any' type of Visa.

The process is little lengthy you need to go to your own embassy and the have to raise the a request for your finger prints to saudi police if you are in Riyadh then their office is in Deira near Batha. They called it adala jinayie. They need one week to generate your finger prints report. You need to collect that and submit it Uae consulate or embassy. They charge another 250 aed to send back this report to Uae and get for you the report. Or if you want to do it yourself you need to send this to any of your friend in dubai they will get one for you in 3 working days.

Thank you for your help.

I have got the letter from Pakistan Embassy, please let me know if I need to get this letter attested from Ministry of Foreign Affairs or I can take this letter directly to Dirah police ?

Further also let me know whether i need to take original passport to Dirah police station or a copy will suffice ?

Regards

Some applicants informed that by courier they will be charging approx 400dhs for sending passport from Dubai to Abu-Dhabi consulate . If an option is given in your PR for submission direct to consulate then it will be better u go there and submit . ( in my case I was specified with an option for direct submission also ) . I was able to get back passport after 3 working days after submission .

Nick, even though if you're living in kuwait, You cant apply under FSW's stream. As, if you go through the official website for dubai visa office, it is clearly mentioned:

"For all federal economic immigration, see London "
