Hello everyone,

I think I have a problem. I live in the Dubai, United Arab Emirates and have been resident here for two years.
For this reason, I filled-in "Abu Dhabi" as the visa office on the Generic Application.
After sending my application, I realized that the website says that London visa office is responsible for the federal economic immigration for UAE.

Should I be worried? Will that result in returning the application back to me?

Hello Everybody, I am new on the forum and ready to submit all my docs. I have just one query for UAE based successful applicants. I am based in Abu Dhabi and have got my certs true copied from a legal translation office.

Is this sufficient or it has to be stamped by a lawyer ? The option of going to IVS ( Indian Embassy outsourced office) is expensive to true copy. They charge AED 55 per document.
Will CIO or LVO accept the copies true copied by legal translators and the documents are in english?

I appreciate your feedback for my question.
We are planning to fly to Canada by Dec. We'll use Emirates airline from Dubai to Calgary through Toronto.
We knew that the allowed bags for us is 2 bags with 23 kg each.
we thought about purchasing additional weight but they told us we may need to pay another fees for this extra weight in the YYC airport for the connecting flight from Toronto to Calgary.
Is there anyone here used Emirates airline to go from Dubai to Calgary?
Did you faced the same?

I did the same... Mentioned Abu Dhabi as Visa office.... Don't know what will happen..... Which date did they receive the application? Mine was received by CIC, NS on 29th July. You can communicate with me on mathrania @ Gmail..... We shall keep in touch.

Indians residing in AUH can select their office as New Delhi.
I was in AUH and applied as New Delhi,got visa stamped from NewDelhi.
Be careful though you will have to send your pps to India fr stamping and that
sucks..

I received acknowledgement and bounce back message one after the other...what could it mean..shall I consider it delivered or bounced message?

I didn't Email London office, I filled in the e-form on 14/10, and I still got the aknowkedgement followed by a delay delivery Email. I think its because there was a holiday in UK that day and their offices were closed.

I am considering it as received as I never received a delay delivery afetr that, and hope that they do reply soon. My passports been in London for almost 6weeks now.

Had anyone applied for immigiration by Premiers Immigiration Consultants? How was your experience with them?

Premiers are completely cheating people. They are very fast in convincing you and wiping your money but nothing will do later on time and you will throw out from the scene. Finally they will tell "try next time".

My case was done through Premiers. The only thing which they did for me ontime was filing of my application which was done on June 10, 2010. Latter on they don't have any knowledge whats going on there and they don't update properly. I was in que since 2010 and was not aware of anything. Finaly in October I took the case in my own hands and started contacting my visa officer directly widout bringing this into the knowledge of Premiers and within 6 months I got my PR. Then I called the premiers people that I have received my visa. They were shocked ;D
And said its not possible. You passport should be sent by us. How did u get the passport request directly..?
Then I sent them the visa copy... So if you can file urself then no need to give money to them...

My PER recieved on 4th sept -2014.Now i got request for PCC and they specified time period of 1 month only following which my application will be rejected.I have to get PCC from UK also which will take time.Can i send an reply email back asking for more time.

Better you apply for PCC first and after receiving any information from UK Firm / Embassy then write to CIC asking for more time. CIC knows the situations around the globe and they accept clarifications, if accompanied by facts.
