The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 10.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, gives the annexed Ministerial Instructions Respecting Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence under the Express Entry System (September 8, 2015).

MINISTERIAL INSTRUCTIONS RESPECTING INVITATIONS TO APPLY FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE UNDER THE EXPRESS ENTRY SYSTEM (SEPTEMBER 8, 2015)

Determination — number of invitations

1. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 10.2(1)(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the number of invitations that may be issued during the period beginning on September 8, 2015 and ending on September 9, 2015 is 1,517.

Required rank

(2) Foreign nationals who, on September 8, 2015 at 15:41:50 UTC, have been assigned a total of 459 points or more under the Comprehensive Ranking System that is set out in the Ministerial Instructions Respecting the Express Entry System, as published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 1, 2014 and as amended from time to time, occupy the rank required to be invited to make an application for permanent residence.

What a pleasant surprise! Woke to my ITA. Now the rush starts to get medicals, Police verification and letter of references in order

Looks like CIC is only registering dummy entries to make the minimum points steady in range of 450 to 460. They want to show that they are giving ITA's to the highly skilled candidates, but the fact is till July only 400 candidates have reached to Canada and only 800 Visas have been issued in 6 months since Express Entry have started.

I personally feels that CIC is soon going to close Express Entry considering upcoming elections and Express Entry failure. And how CIC gets candidates (1500 to 1550) in every 15 days having points between 450 to 460?

I have my subordinated working under me and he is only 26 years old with 4 years of experience have 7 band in IELTS and qualification same as me. He is having 390 points.
And if i talk about myself, I am 37 years old with more than 10 years of experience have 7 band in IELTS same qualification, but i have only 315 points.

This huge difference is because i am 37 years old though i have more experience and I am married. I have done Love Marriage and my wife is only 12th pass. Kindly attention to all guys who are unmarried. Make sure that you choose a spouse who are highly qualified.

Not marrying someone you love coz you will lose points on EE sounds absurd.

I understand your anger. This is a flawed process which is way too objective for anyone's benefit. A master's in any subject is certainly not better than a graduation from a top institute/course. But then these are the rules of the game and we have to unfortunately follow them

All hopes lost!!

Most of the skilled workers are between 350 to 450. Don't they deserve to get an ITA. Express entry system is a successful failure.
