Does work experience while PGWP was in progress count towards 1 year?

I graduated and applied for my PGWP last year. While my PGWP was still being processed, I got a job. My WP came 4 months after I started the job. Wondering if I can add the 4 months to my current 8 months experience to make it 1 year or if I have to wait the extra 4 months. Thanks for your help.

Yes Your work experience during the PGWP waiting period will also be counted.

All the work experience gained after you submitted the PGWP application will be counted towards CEC. Nothing to worry about here.
