Hi Everyone.

I would like to immigrate to Canada under the Canadian Experience Class as temporary foreign worker (not as a foreign graduate).

I have 24 months of full time work experience in Canada, but 7 of those months I gained as part of an internship as an undergraduate.
I was an undergraduate in Germany and I was a temporary full time worker during those 7 months in Canada. I worked 37.5 hours a week, got a scholarship, and had a work permit.

I'm still living and working in Canada as a temporary worker.

Do the 7 months internship count as working experience?

Thank!!!

I don't see anything that would exclude it.

Are the 7 months of experience within 3 years of the (planned) application date, and NOC skill level O, A, or B... ?

Thank you very much for your answer!

Yes, it's within 3 years of the planned application date and it's Noc skill level A.

Hi everyone,

We are journalists based in Vancouver currently looking to interview a high-skilled TFW for a 15 minute documentary film, on behalf of the city of Vancouver. The film explores workers' needs and experiences working and living in Vancouver. Its purpose is to raise public awareness around the TFW program to suggest policy changes. Please call or email us if you are interested in sharing your experience, we can also keep your identity anonymous if you are not comfortable sharing your full name on camera.
