Documents to be submitted after ITA

Hello All,

Request to all those members recevied ITA to share docs asked by CIC as well pl share the format I.e. Reference letters, proof of funds, etc.

I have same question what documents are required after ITA received. How to send docs online or via.post.?

Can anyone please share the list of docs?

You have to give them some time, you cant see the document checklist until you fill all the forms

Just got my ITA today. Got 60 days to submit the application. Applied for FBI clearance just yesterday. I highly suspect it would come back in time.

Can anyone tell me if I can send an email to CIC to explain the situation here ?

Yes, CIC has a clause:-

In exceptional circumstances, CIC may accept

• proof of having requested a PC for such countries; or
• a letter of explanation of best efforts (not a guarantee of acceptance).

Remember, it is in exceptional circumstances, and for FBI maybe they won't accept this as an exceptional circumstance.

I hope they acknowledge the delay in FBI's PCC processing.

Anyone who got an ITA with a baby born in Canada? Are you required to get a passport for an 8 month old baby? Any information will help..im sitting at 363 points, long wait i guess, but better to be prepared in case i get an ITA.thanks!

Can anybody explain the document
Proof of Means of Financial Support (required)
Do we only need to submit the bank statements(Past how many months)
Do we need to enter any pan card details.
Do they check any liabilities like Car loan, Personal loan that we have ??

Kindly throw some light on these points which might be helpful for all those skilled worked who have these kinds of queries

Is it possible to change your current address after submitting the information? I am travelling in 2 weeks time, and thus my address, travel and address history will all change.

Also is it possible to do medical in one country, move to a new country, and then submit the application?

Yes, CIC has a clause:-

I just read my ITA letter from CIC.

"You should immediately start gathering all the supporting documents and information you need to include on your
application so that you can submit your application within the 60-day deadline. Please note that some
documents, such as police certificates, may take some effort and time to acquire so begin gathering
these documents now."

If, at the 60-day deadline, any of the supporting documentation and information is missing and you do not have a
valid reason, your application will be rejected.


So, if FBI takes more time than 60 days then it is definitely a valid reason for delay from their side. As from applicant's perspective, all efforts should have been made to try getting the required documentation once ITA is received.

Hope this helps other members. Please do not panic and submit the PCC request to FBI ASAP.

For Employment , are these records enough

1) Offer Letter,
2) Relieving Letter
3) Experience (Roles and Responsibilities)
4) Pay stubs (is this needed?)

And are scanned copies enough to be submitted ?

I do not have my original passport with me. I s it necessary to give while making the application?
Or can I send it just for visa stamping?
So if around 3 months is the PR process shall i send it end of third month/
