I became a PR in Canada a few months ago and have received my PR card. I am going back to India for a short while. While over there I also need to get my passport renewed (its expiring in the coming months). My questions are:
# When I get back a renewed/fresh copy of passport, what happens to the visa stamped on my earlier passport? Would I not need it when coming back to Canada?
# Would I need to get the new Passport stamped with visa again from Canadian embassy?
# What other documents besides the PR card and the new Passport would be needed?
The Canadian immigration website as well as the letter accompanying my PR card tells me that I need a PR card while coming back. Is that really all, a passport(without a previous visa stamp in case of my renewed/fresh passport) and PR card?
