Do i submit police report from canada too for inland ?

Hi i am an int. student here and my husband will be sponsoring me. I have been here in canada for 1 year now . We r going to apply for the PR in INLAND. so i will submit the police certificate from my back home ..also do i need to submit a police certificate from canada too as its been a year um living here ? i wanted to submit the police report so the process get faster.. Plz advise ./..
