Do I need to get a new police certificate for resubmission?

I submitted my application in Jan (through spouse sponsorship) and my application got returned today for incomplete documents.
I am going to do a resubmission now, but my police certificate is from last year. Will I have to get a new one?

Yes you need to get a new one and make sure also that all the forms are updated
