Hello All,
I am a Canadian Citizen living in Canada. I will be marrying a Vietnamese Citizen living in Vietnam. I will be sending my documents to the Vietnamese Embassy in Ottawa legalized.
May I ask, do I need to provide BOTH the "Statement in lieu of certificate of non-impediment to marriage abroad" AND the "Single Status Declaration certified by a Notary Public or Commissioner for Oath" documents to the Vietnamese Embassy (in addition to the notarized copy of passport, notarized copy of birth certificate, and the 'Statement in lieu of certificate of non-impediment to marriage abroad')? Or, is just the 'Single Status Declaration certified by a Notary Public or Commissioner for Oath' sufficient?
I addition, may I ask, should I send in a notarized copy of my entire passport (every page), or just the pages with my personal information and signature?
(please note that I have tried contacting the Vietnamese Embassy, but I'm having difficulty in getting a response).
Many thanks for any and all advice.
