HELLO EVERYONE I GOT AIP AFTER 3YEAR THEN CIC ASK ME TO RE DO THE MEDICAL AND THEY ARE GOING TO RE DO THE BACKGROUND CHECK AGAIN I ASK WHY, BECOUSE MEDICAL AND BACKGROUND AS BEEN DONE ONES THEY SAID THE FIST ONE AS EXPIER DID ANY ONE KNOW HOW LONG FOR BACKGROUND CHECK TO BE DONE

WOW!. It took 3 years for you to get AIP??. WHY??. was your file transferred which is your local office??. you r soo patient!. i think if it takes 3 years to get AIP, i will withdraw and apply outland!.


back ground checks depend on how many countires you have lived prior to canada and also how long those countries take to submit reports back to cic.. some inlanders got pr and aip in less than a year. so it depends on your situation really

Did you have an interview? Three years is on the longer times it takes to process inland.
Unless u have a issue with your application like kids that are not in the country.

You need to give more details in order to help

thanks Black-Berry when my file was transfer the local cic office said they have 24 month back log, yes we went for interview the same they we went for the interview that was the they the cic give me the AIP when we went i never belive the Quetion the io ask i was fose to ask is thats why i have to wet for 3 years , she only ask were was our trash can located in the house and how many room do we have in our house and who cook yesterday and a also do we look at a tv program yesterday and what program and evertying is over

which was your local office??.
sometimes backgroucd checks depend on what country they are doing a check on and if that country takes time.... plus they have to do background checks here in canada as well. hang in there am sure you will get your pr oon.

you still didnt tell me how many years you have been married, kids??. why did they transfer your file? is it because they doubted your relationship?
when was your interview?

we been married for 3 years the file was transfer for more assement that is what they said

Oh could she file a case against cic. It sounds sooo ridiculous!.. I agree. i have heard two years but three years is a whole lifetime!... Even 2 years just for AIP is crazy
i just didnt know someone could file a case against CIC

tim271 look into talking to your MP. Your case has been too long and drawn out i agree with saugaboss you need someone to step in. It may hasten the process.
i really dont know your situation to see why it warrants such a long and drawn out case but if you are pretty straightforward. seeing someone may help you great deal..

on what ground can he/she sue cic? if ur file has been transferred without AIP this is the outcome they go with their manual n procedure tim271 said his local office waiting time was 24 months then what i know from their GOD knows

You could also give SIRC a call , they are the CSIS watchdog , if your file is with CSIS.
