Did anyone know how long it take CSIS for Background Checks

hello everyone Did anyone know how long it take CSIS for Background Checks one as been done befor but cic said the Background Checks as expire that they have to do it again

It depends on how long it takes the agencies in the countries in which you've lived to respond to the CSIS inquiry. Background checks don't expire because they're the last part of the process . . . the police clearances (to show you don't have any arrests) might expire, and sometimes (especially if you're outland) you're asked to repeat those.

Thanks RobsLuv rcmp and CSIS was done befor my file was transfer to the local office and have not live the country i really dont know why cic told me that one as expire they have to do it again

To be honest, I think people on this forum have more knowledge of the immigration process than most of the call staff at CIC.
