Hey guys, I graduated in college last May 2016 and our family finished the medical process, cic recieved April 2016. Im planning to get a job. Does it affects my application?
sehmendoza said:My mom told me that since I applied as a dependent, I need to be in school while the papers are still processing. She doesn't want me to work because she said it might affect our application. How true is that?
canuck_in_uk said:Not true at all. There is absolutely no requirement for you to stay in school. As scylla said, you just need to remain single to continue qualifying as a dependent.
sehmendoza said:Hi again. CIC updated my application (only me) last december and I said there that I'm still studying. Remedical last december 2016 cic recieved last month (January 2017) My question is the same, can I apply for a job? Does it affect my application?
Rob_TO said:Your answer is the same as above. Whether you're in school or working is irrelevant to you remaining a dependent in your PR app.

I'm just curious, did you work while waiting?
sehmendoza said:not yet were still waiting for the interview before the ppr
