hi, sorry to hear that u got your app back too. when u got it back? did they mention about cap reach as the reason?
anyway, did u you submit enough evidence to prove that u worked as Dental therapist for at least 1 year (full time)? if not then your work exp as dental therapist won't be counted.
I m confused will it b dental therapist or oral hygienist

hello Dr.Hasib
I filled second option as dental therapist but my file have been returned.they did not explain abt that.i hope to apply in next July if Dentist remain in list.any link to find out abt that?
with regards
I think u didnt claim your 2nd NOC Oral hygienist with correct NOC code or they overlooked it accidentally otherwise they cant return it due to cap .
R u sure U did all the necessary things for ur 2nd NOC? u can get NER but u cant b returned if u have claimed ur 2nd NOC properly

Dentists who got your application returned recently:

Don't lose hope. wait till July 1st, 2012 for MI4.
CIC is supposed to keep the same NOC list till 2013. So, there is a very good chance that NOC-3113: Dentist will remain in the list.

Hi
I think Dr Hasib has wonderful knowledge
Really appreciate this
Sir
Can you please tell me if VISA office location effects your time duration of app processing?
Reading all these posts I learned that people who had visa office London had long time duration
Those having singapore are less
Is this in our hand?
Also I am thinking to go to USA for Studies
So can I change my visa office to Chicago or something?
Will it quicken the process or same thing?

Hi everyone
received my application back As the cap was reached
I am a little skeptical about applying again cause I'm still to here a successful story of a dentist who has got the licence to practice through this route and is doing well if u guys know some one than lease share their stories for encouragement.
Thanks
Dr vishal

dear Dr. Vishal,
Very true., it's very very very hard in canada to get the licence. all immigrant dentists here are working as Dental assistant.... :(

hi,
we can't select our visa office according to our wish. You must select the VO that serves:

-your country of nationality, or
-the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year.

it's true that some VO work faster and some VO are very slow at processing.
Faster Visa offices: Manila VO, New delhi VO,
Slower Visa office: London VO, Buffelo VO, SIngapore VO

Dear Dr Hasib

Do you think there will be any change in Dentist Category? or in the document requirements?

And when will bethe best time to apply in this category, as I see the cap has reached within 6 months?

Look forward to hear from you soon .

I dont think that you got the correct information...they can add or remove some of the categories from the current NOC list but cant entirely terminate the FSW category as still there is a shortage of the current categories till 2015 as far as i know from the current labour market conditions in Canada...and they accept only 500 applications per category, after which they start returning the applications citing the reason as cap reached,so how can they have enough applications upto 2017 ?they may have a database where they keep the information of all the applications, even if they are returned(whatever may be the reason behind that)..

Hope i am correct with the information as i am also waiting to apply in july under NOC 3113...

Anyways hope for the best and all d best....

hello fellow dentists! i'm from the philippines, i sent my application dec 1 and it reached NS dec 20. any feedbacks from those who sent theirs in dec? i understand some already got their application back because of cap reached. i'm so worried because i haven't receicvd any feedbacks yet and now i'm trying to open my mind to accept if i didn't reach the cap. i hope we could all help each other in case we all are applying this july 2012. i just hope we'll get our papers back soon if they were returned...
