If you got married after you became PR then simply provide the relevant documents like your marriage certificate to prove you were married after you became a PR, in that case.

But Edna you have to be honest about the situation, you'll only make it worse if you're not being forthright about it.

Then just respond to the letter and provide documentation which clearly states the details of when you got married. It shouldn't be a problem.

We have already done so but with the way they are making mistakes I am just scared. How can they send an approval in error and then bring this up again.

The wedding was in January 2021 and no he didn’t add me in his application.
We both had separate PR application at the time we were dating. I got my PR oct 2020 and he got a rejection November 2020
Sorry - I don't what to say.

There is a reason why IRCC thinks you were married earlier. There must be something that is making them think that.

As said above, all you can really do is respond and submit the evidence to prove when you actually got married. I don't think there's really anything more you can do.

Edna, I think you should order for your GCMS notes to see what exactly was the red flag in your application. Because if it came up during TRV processing, it will definitely come up during spousal sponsorship.
Best of luck
