Hi all, I am a permanent resident of Canada and my husband applied for a visitors visa. The processing office said I did not disclose the fact that I was a married after I got my Permanent Residency status.
Please is there a form to fill to declare that I am married after getting my PR?

Looks like you got married when your PR was being processed and did not update your status to include your husband before you landed. By not doing so you don't qualify to sponsor your spouse.

There's no form. Can you provide the full details of the letter you received? This doesn't really make sense.

No I got married after. I got my PR in October 2020 and I got married January 2021.
You have an older posts that says you got married August 2020. Is that not correct?

My husband applied for a visitor’s visa and on February 16 we got a request letter for his passport and that it was approved.

After 8 weeks they still haven’t returned his passport so I sent an email to my MP and the response we got was that the request letter was sent in error and that they are still reviewing his application and that as at the time I got my Permanent Residency in oct 2020 I didn’t disclose that I was married.

So I sent a message to the MP to tell them I got my PR and then months later I got married there was no form to fill out to inform them that I just got married it’s not like I still have an application in progress or something.

I am exhausted please any advice will be helpful

This makes no sense. In one paragraph, you state that you didn’t disclose that you got married when you got PR in October 2020. Then you say you got married in January 2021. And in another post, you got married in August 2020.

Before anyone can help you when did you actually get married?

Sorry that’s a typo erro. I got my permanent residence in oct 2020 and I got married in Jan 2021
IRCC thinks that you got married before you became a PR.

What marriage date did your husband include in his TRV application? Did you live together for a year or more before coming to Canada and becoming a PR?

To add to my question above, it sounds like your husband had a PR application in progress that was refused. Did he by any chance add you as a spouse to that application before it was refused?

No we didn’t live together I only travelled for a month in January 2021 for the wedding I spent only a month. Apparently they think I got married during my application process because that’s the only explanation I can think of

Yes - that's what they think. There needs to be a reason why they think that. A document or something that your husband declared in one of his applications. There is some sort of evidence that indicates you married earlier. You need to figure out what that is.

The wedding was in January 2021 and no he didn’t add me in his application.
We both had separate PR application at the time we were dating. I got my PR oct 2020 and he got a rejection November 2020
