Declaring my Marrige

Hello Everyone,

I need your help in something please.

I Have landed to Canada on June 2006 and got married few months after (I had no relation with my wife before landing) my wife is living in India. I honestly don't remember if i have informed CIC regarding my marriage or not. I became citizen in 2011

My concern is .. How can i check if i did declare her with CIC or not. If i didn't will there be any issue for me?

So long as you were married AFTER your landing, there was no need to declare your spouse to CIC, if you had married her before landing and not declared her, then you would have issues.

There is no way to ask CIC if you declared her after your landing.
