For all of you that are having an interview, how close do you live to the immigration office where the interview will be held?

Me too! I got DM on October 24, nothing yet, n My life is basically on hold because of it! Do we need a valid permit when we land?!

No we dont. I landed 2 months ago and didn’t have any valid status, only ETA

Inland AINP (skilled worker steam), I’m from Czech Republic (European Union). the thing is that I was on vacationback home when I got my COPR (and a friend of mine brought it to me to Europe... and my work permit expired when I was back home. So when I came to Canada, I didn’t have any valid work permit, only ETA

I see, that makes sense. Because I want to quit my job, n if I do so, the work permit will get cancelled, n I need to apply for a new one if I need a permit to land!

I called cic they said new processing time is max 8 weeks.

It's very difficult to hit a send button to send PPR to email

I think the have changed the process as I am in NS and got the PPR from IRCC in Halifax rather than Ottawa so guess it now goes to the IRCC of the prov
